Day-Release Study Option
At Altta Group Limited, we understand the importance of flexibility in learning. That’s why our NEBOSH NGC course offers a day-release study option, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments while advancing your career. The day-release study option will be conducted over 11 days including exam day and a revision day.
Intensive Training Study Option
Not everybody can conduct the training via our day-release option. If this is you then we offer a full-time study option where you will train for 11 consecutive days (not including weekends, we are not monsters). This option is inclusive of the exam day and a revision day.

The NEBOSH National General Certificate course has 2 units and there is an assessment for each unit:
- Unit NG1 – is completed online, and is an open-book exam, candidates have 24 hours to complete the exam. questions are based on real-life scenarios. 45 marks are required to pass this unit.
- Unit NG2 – is a practical risk assessment, which is conducted at the candidates place of work (please inform us on booking if you do not have a place of work). You need to identify hazards and then develop an action plan that can be communicated and used to improve health and safety practices. This assessment is pass/fail
NEBOSH grades are based on the marks you achieve as detailed below:
- Pass: 45-64 marks
- Credit: 65-74 marks
- Distinction: 75+ marks
The NG2 must be completed to gain the parchment.
