12 Hour Paediatric

Our paediatric first aid courses meet the standards laid down by Ofsted, EYFS, and SureStart . Our 12 hour paediatric first aid course is held at our academy in Peterborough Cambridgeshire or at a venue of your choosing.

The 12 hour paediatric course is suitable for Childminders, Teachers, Nursery workers, Au Pairs, Nannies, School nurse or parents.

The first aid competition in Cambridgeshire is high so why use ALTTA?

We pride ourselves on not only having teaching experience in the classroom but also having hands on experience in delivering first aid within the work place. Our first aid instructors have dealt with a wide range of incidents from cut fingers through to CPR on a member of the public. One of our first aid at work instructors has a St Johns commendation for carrying out successful CPR to a member of the public. He did this with an ex candidate that he taught.

We also believe in keeping first aid simple. Our instructors will not try and blind you with medical jargon, as far as we are concerned an arm is an arm and a leg is a leg. A lot of people are put off first aid courses as they are worried about the medical terms that are often used, however this will not happen at ALTTA.
